About This Project

“Rosie” is a contemporary interpretation of a classical theme.
This has been made by laser cutting a sheet of mdf 3mm thick into 103 parts and then gluing them back together. Even though the “pancake” effects makes for an irregular surface, the amount of details that can be suggested is still amazing.

The laser leaves a dark burn mark on the side on the ply. As a result the sculptures appears dark or clear depending on the viewing angle, producing fascinating highlights.

This is solid, robust and durable. weight: 6kg (13 pounds)
